The project draws inspiration from photography books that documented Black communities, hip-hop culture, and New York street life in the 1990s.
The visual references informed the styling, attitude, and editorial tone of the catalog, shaping a language rooted in street culture, identity, and bold self-expression.
My process began with understanding the cultural references and emotional tone behind the brand. I explored visual material rooted in 1990s New York street culture, Black communities, and hip-hop aesthetics, then translated these influences into a language that could feel elevated, fashion-driven, and still authentic to cor.e’s local identity.
From there, I approached the project as a dialogue between image and layout. The styling choices, compositions, and editorial pacing were all developed together, allowing the photoshoot and the printed catalog to feel like one cohesive visual statement.

The solution was to create a printed catalog that merges street culture references with a refined editorial language. Through carefully art-directed styling, bold imagery, and a clean minimalist layout, the final piece translates the brand’s cultural influences into a cohesive and elevated visual experience.
By connecting the visual direction of the photoshoot with the pacing and structure of the catalog, the project establishes a strong and recognizable identity that feels both internationally inspired and locally grounded.
