Adapting an existing survey flow into an in-game rating experience. Design an in-game rating popup for Bingo Blitz, with the goal of collecting player feedback and encouraging app store ratings. A previous version had been discontinued due to app store policy concerns. The new design needed to adapt the game’s existing survey template while working within its structural constraints and the platform requirements discussed by the team.
/ Challenges
I worked with stakeholders from Product and Monetization to understand the business goal and discuss the proposed flow within the legal and platform constraints. The user research lead provided the requirements and limitations of the existing survey template, which became the foundation for my design. I adapted the template for a star-rating interaction and the follow-up paths associated with each response.
/ Design Process

The proposed flow began with an in-game star rating. Players selecting 1–3 stars would receive a follow-up question asking how the game could improve, while those selecting 4–5 stars would be directed to the native app store rating prompt within the app. Players would receive a reward for participating, regardless of the rating they selected.
/ The Proposed Solution
Creating a consistent widget system for a clearer, less cluttered lobby. As part of a broader Bingo Blitz lobby redesign, I was tasked with developing UX guidelines for its widgets. The challenge was to accommodate multiple widgets on screen while reducing visual clutter, creating consistency, and making each widget easier for players to understand.
/ Challenges
Working closely with the UX team lead on the lobby redesign, I focused on defining widget guidelines to support a clearer, less crowded, and more cohesive experience. I researched how other games use lobby widgets and explored how we could accommodate the desired number within our available screen space. With no existing guidelines to build on, this research informed a shared framework for widget size, layout, and visual consistency.
/ Design Process

A set of UX guidelines defining a shared design framework for lobby widgets. The guidelines aimed to help multiple widgets coexist on screen, balancing consistency across the system with clear communication of each widget’s purpose.
